OTTAWA WE CARE. (COVID-19 CRISIS RELIEF TEAM)


The President of Africa Live Canada (NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION) Mr. Reynolds Okoh, along with the CEO of Suya Place Restaurant Mr. Lanre A, were disheartened to see the negative impact that Covid-19 has had on the people of our community.


Mr. Lanre Akanbi is dedicating this in HONOUR OF HIS LATE MOM LANDRY BRENDA JOAN (Ottawa Police Services) 1955 - 2011 After a long battle with leukemia, Brenda passed away on May 26, 2011, at the Ottawa General Hospital. Loving life-partner of Ann MacLean. Adored foster mother of Lanre Akanbi.


It has been a tragedy to witness this crisis worldwide and feel wholly helpless as we wait for the outcome of the Coronavirus pandemic to unfold.


Africa Canada Live, Suya Place in collaboration with Visuvo, Np production, Severe Nature, Afro world market, Black Buddies Entertainment, Hype Nation, and Lenz studio, who have decided to come together to volunteer our services in this time of crisis.


We want to thank Lenz Studio Located at 1884 Merivale Road, Ottawa, for providing their facility Free of charge to run our Operations.


We also want to thank U-HAUL moving & Storage of Ottawa located at 383 Coventry Road for providing us free Boxes and Van free of charge to run our Operations.


Our relief team is offering Free aid and relief to the most vulnerable individuals who are affected by the Covid-19 crisis In Ottawa/Gatineau. We are targeting the Seniors, Pregnant Women, single Parents, International Students who are stranded here in Ottawa/Gatineau and anyone else who is in need and unable to access public transportation to acquire groceries or other necessities.


We strongly encourage everyone to stay home and save Lives why we serve you.


Reynolds Okoh and Lanre A. have donated $3000 each to kick start this project.


We have put in place a team to make sure all hygiene protocols are observed from wearing gloves, masks and also social distancing to minimize the risk of contamination.

This FREE care Kit will include essential items that an individual will require for sustenance during this unpresidential crisis.


Toiletries: Toothpaste and Toothbrushes, Toilet paper, liquid soap and hand sanitizer, rice, pasta, pasta sauce, Noodles, Apple, Avocado, Potato, Bread, Eggs, milk etc. Items in this category may vary depending on your age and immediate situation. For example Seniors, single parents and pregnant women will be given pampers


As we obtain a larger support group, it is our hope to provide more items and not only essential items but items that can offer comfort to the affected.
