Eve's Hit and Run Medical Bill
Donation protected
ABOUT EVE: My 6-month old german shepherd, Eve, was hit by a car on March 13th. The driver was speeding down a residential street and struck her. Without remorse, the driver sped off and I immediately seeked medical attention.
She spent the night at the VCA hospital and the following morning she was given a CT scan. One of her canines was knocked out of her mouth and her jaw is fractured in 5 parts. She will be receiving a metal plate to keep the jaw in place on her left side, and pins and a bar to hold her jaw together on the other side and will be recovering for a while.
ABOUT MYSELF: I am a recent college graduate and will be going back to school for a Masters Degree or go into veterinarian. I am taking classes at UCLA to better my chances of getting into a veterinarian program. On my spare time, I volunteer at the West LA Animal Shelter helping pets find a home and facilitating the homeless dogs and cats interact with people. I also volunteer at the California Wildlife Center where I rehabilitate wild animals, such as marine mammals and birds. With my busy schedule, it is hard to take on more work. Any help will be appreciated.
