Hope for Kellijo & Oskar Beechum

Oskar Beechum is my friend Kellijo Schriver's sweet, kind, polite and loving, little, seven year old boy, who is suffering daily, from up to nearly 40 severe seizures, in Seattle Children's Hospital. Oskar was a healthy Alaskan boy, then suddenly, in September he started having seizures so badly, that he had to be withdrawn from school. As he waited for test results and appointments with experts, they became worse and more frequent, then he suffered an injury and had to be airlifted November 16, 2014 from Juneau, Alaska to Seattle, Wa. where they still remain. Oskar's mother Kellijo has not left his side, and is living in his hospital room with him, as he needs a bed side attendant continuously, but she did have to leave behind her younger son, Oskar's little brother Victor. Victor is lovingly being cared for by his grandparents in Alaska. So far, there is no expectant date for Oskar to return home to Alaska, as it is expected he will remain in the hospital for several more months. The doctors have no answers as to why Oskar is seizing, and Oskar patiently and bravely undergoes any medical tests cast upon him. Kellijo is a phenomenal woman, a single mom who had to abruptly quit her job, drop out of college and be at her sons side. Oskar and Kellijo spent Thanksgiving, Christmas and now New Years in the hospital. The financial hardships are steep and the costs of travel to and from Alaska are monumental. Please help release this burden so Kellijo can focus on Oskar's care, and little Victor and his grandparents can travel to Seattle to visit and love on Oskar and Kellijo. The only form of travel to and from Juneau, Ak is by air or sea and is very costly. The future is uncertain, please help unite this family, pray and hope for answers, wellness, and family togetherness. Thank you~
