Orlando Mendoza Sr's Hospital Fund

On August 21, 2017, Orlando Mendoza Sr. went in to the hospital with complaints of ongoing chest and stomach pain.  Within minutes, Orlando had stopped breathing and his heart stopped.

The doctors were able to resuscitate him but had to induce a coma in order to bring down the swelling in Orlando's brain and heart.  Currently, Orlando is intubated and in a coma with an unknown prognosis.

Doctor's found that when Orlando arrived at the hospital, his heart was only working at 10% capacity and his main artery was severely clogged causing a Massive Heart Attack.  In addition, Orlando's brain was not receiving enough oxygen to function properly. 

Unfortunately, the family found out that Orlando does not have health insurance. Orlando Sr.  is very young and previously had not faced serious medical issues.  This event will leave him with significant medical bills. 

I am creating this campaign in hopes of lessening the financial burden for Orlando and his family. I will keep this campaign updated as we learn more information regarding Orlando's prognosis, as well as his medical expenses.
