organize the 3rd edition of the HBA championship

Hi my name is Giowou Arsel, I am the founder of Harmony baseball academy. an academy that aims to bring baseball to Cameroonian children. HBA has existed since 2019. when we started this program in the community, we had barely 10 children

despite this number of children we have not given up and have continued to work hard so that other children can interest you in the games.

although the game is new in Cameroon, we decided to create Harmony baseball championship which is a concept that aims to put children in a baseball field. to be able to offer opportunities to children, smiles, juices, food, baseball family parties and also scholarships and school supplies, because the goal is also that the children can have a good education.

compared to the 1st edition of our championship, we had a very big increase in children's participation in the 2nd edition of the harmony baseball championship. during the 2nd edition, we were able to set up 3 U17 teams and 2 U12 teams.

thanks to all of you during this year, HBA was able to bring baseball to 2 communities and it is also associated with a local orphanage to finally bring baseball to the orphanage. HBA also had a visit from MLB team members the Los Angels Dodgers.

HBA plans to hold the 3rd edition of its Kids Baseball Championship here in Cameroon in August. To make it a success, make the children happy and put smiles in the mouths of many Cameroonian children, HBA is coming to you today to ask for your help to help us organize the 3rd edition of our Baseball Championship for children as well as in our goals and needs. Finally that we can develop the game of Baseball in Cameroon, to make Baseball a popular sport here in Cameroon.

Budget necessary for the organization of the 3rd edition of the Harmony Baseball Championship in Cameroon which will take place from August 10 to 18, 2022 in the city of Yaoundé. The objective of the championship is to promote baseball to the Cameroonian population. The championship would be made up of 100 children from 2 categories (U12 and U17), 10 teams and the children would be between 09 and 16 years old.

Budget details and use:

- Waters during the games = $100

- Festival party for players and staff = $1000

- Field rental = $1000

- Certificate of achievement for each players = $400 - Chairs rental = $90

- Manufacture of 40 medals = $500

- Purchasing school supplies for children = $900

- Making backpacks for children = $1000

- Bonus for the winners = $200

- Best player, pitcher, batsman bonus = $100

- 2 nd and 3rd best team bonus = $200

Umpires for the championship = $400 - Making banners = $200

-Players health insurance= $600

Total = $6,000
