OEGON WILDFIRE VICTIM AND FIREFIGHTER RESOURCE RELIEF!
My name is Madison Hedlund and one of the saddest things I have ever witnessed is my home state of Oregon burning to the ground, as I am sure many of you can relate to. Our beautiful blue sky turned to smoke and ash, our hundreds, sometimes even thousands of year old trees destroyed in seconds. Homes of family members, friends and neighbors, all gone. It would be easy for me, or you, who are lucky enough to still be in our homes, to sit back, watch the news, and feel bad for those who have it worse, but now is not the time to sit back and feel bad. Now is the time to be kind, caring, compassionate, and most of all take action when, and however, you can. That is why I have started this GoFundMe page. The money raised will be used to buy food, water, clothes, and other essentials/resources, and will then be donated to the local fire departments and shelters homing those displaced by fires. Please take a moment to donate if you can. Remember, like my favorite Disney princess says, "Every penny counts" - Princess Tiana.
