Orangeplum's School Fee

Most people online know me for my comic "Satan and Me", but I do fanart and write stories as well. I go to a very expensive Art University, which I had to miss some of this semester due to an unforseen medical problem. I had to go to the emergency room back in August because I thought I had appendicitis. It turned out to only be a kidney stone, but in the process of getting X-ray'd for the stone, my doctor's found a baseball sized tumor on my kidney.

This has caused me to take action to get the tumor removed, but even the stress of having a tumor was a big burden while attending school this semester. I even developed a case of shingles from the stress and had to miss more school.

My counselor told me to petition a grievance so I would get the fees waved but I was denied my request and hadn't heard from my school since.

Today I recieved an email out of the blue with no notice that I had to pay $3,100 in 10 days or I would be sent to collections at my school. I'm not sure how they expected me to pay so much on such short notice, but that on top of my bills, taking time off for my procedure, and rent, I have no choice but to ask for help.

Any help will make me grateful. I'd rather not have to do this, but after asking around some friends and family they said that it couldn't hurt to reach out.
