On October 13-21st 2017, I will be one of many global volunteers in an international dental mission to Santo Domingo. This network includes dozens of medical professionals as well as hundreds of non-medical volunteers from the Dominican Republic working to treat children in the Dominican Republic .
Over the past six years, Operation Smile has provided free reconstructive surgery to more than 1,100 patients in the Dominican Republic. In 2013, Operation Smile partnered with professors and students at Universidad Iberoamericana in Santo Domingo to launch the country’s first dental program.
