Operation See My Daddy!

My name is Hannah Baker. I am a U.S. Marine Corps wife of an incredible and dedicated marine. We have a little girl, Korenna, who is 2 1/2 and is a spitting image of my husband. My marine, Jake, is being deployed to Germany for a full year with almost no leave time at all, after just returning from a tour in late October. Jake is a combat engineer with the United States Marine Corps and is a sergent. This deployment will be the 4th tour, including 2 previous to Afghanistan in Operation Enduring Freedom, during which he earned many ribbons and awards including the Purple Heart on his second tour for being hit by an IED. Despite all of the set backs that come with situations like this, he has overcame every obstacle and continued his military career all while being a wonderful daddy to our sweet little girl and a hardworking and devoted husband.

My goal in all of this is to make a trip to Germany with Korenna to surprise him for a week or two..if he won't be able to come home and see his family then I want to take our family to him. Being gone for an enitre year of our toddlers life is a very big part of her life that video chats and pictures just can't do justice to.

Any amount will make every bit of the difference in helping Korenna see her daddy. International flights are very expensive so without you all, we have no hope to make it out there.
