Want to be a hero with $15 and brag that you helped deliver access of clean water due to the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria. My name is Yvonne Schiffer and I need your $15 to help me buy one water purification filtration system unit that will help one family get access to clean drinking water. These retail for $60 and I was able to receive the humanitarian crisis price of $15 for each unit. These are not available in Puerto Rico and must be ordered and imported to the island. Each unit will supply thousands of gallons of filtered water to a family.
Puerto Rico is near and dear to my heart and is also my mother's homeland. In honor of my mother who suffers from severe Alzheimer's, I feel compelled to do something that can truly make a difference for Puerto Rico as my mother would do if she could. I have been visiting the island annually since I was six months old, and have resided there as an adult. I adore this island.
Your contribution of $15 dollars help s me reach my goal of $16,000 dollars to distribute the 600 water purification filtration system units by Sawyer. This unit is designed for disaster relief for those that have no access to clean water. See video below for demonstration of the water purification system. The donation also goes towards my car rental, gas, and solar lights.
Im currently in Puerto Rico. I have been here since November 12, 2017 on a mission to supply relief and much needed aide to the island . I have a total of 1,000 boxes that feed a family of four for a week. Im personally distrubiting these boxes and the water purification systems this month on my journey.
