OPEN YOUTH AND HS SPORTS IN OHIO LEGAL FUNDS

My name is Tom Sunderman and I am the president of Southwestern Ohio Basketball. I am leading a group of local sports organizations who have filed a suit seeking an injunction against the Ohio Department of Health Orders prohibiting youth contact sports, and any Orders requiring kids to be tested before each game.  While this was filed in Warren County, we believe it will have a substantial impact on the entire State, and will pave the way to open ALL high school and youth sports if successful.  We have been unable to run any leagues or tournaments since March and therefore the cost of this litigation is adding up and will continue to add up as we fight for a permanent injunction.  So if you are hopeful for contact sports (ex. football, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, and others) to be permitted, consider helping us out with our expenses so we can fight for all of our kids to HAVE A SEASON.
