Across the nation small business is feeling the effects of the corona virus (COVID 19) among some of the hardest hit industries are those in hospitality. Bartenders and wait staff are extremely hard-working individuals that work under immense stress every day to bring their guests a relaxing and fulfilling experience.
And now most of them are currently out of work for the foreseeable future. With mandated closures in some cities and voluntary closures in others, and regulations changing daily, we are seeing the loss of a substantial amount of jobs and income in our communities.
We encourage all bartenders and servers to file for unemployment, however we recognize that unemployment won’t be enough for these for these hardworking people of the service industry. Not to mention, that unemployment is not at all available for small bar and restaurant owners.
