Austin and Evan's New Beginning!

Austin and Evan are twin boys who are now four months old.   Both are victims of Shaken Baby Syndrome.   Austin's injuries were so serious he was near death.  Because of the type injuries he suffered Shakened Baby was suspected.  He showed sub-dural brain bleed and retinal bleed.  He was stabilized and treated for seizures.  Evan, too, was examined by authorities.  He showed chronic brain bleed.  The long term effects may take time to show, but we do know Austin continues with medication for seizures and his eyes do not react to light.  As far as mental and physical development, we hope for the best, but statistics show otherwise.  We have enrolled them in Early Intervention to monitor their progress.
The Twins are a delight to their mother.  She loves them dearly!  All had to start a new beginning together.  I am their grandmother.  Currently, I am providing housing with utilities.  I am offering childcare when she works two nights a week as a nurse.  The family is receiving what help is out there for them.  They need so much more!  My old house I was able to give them but it needs repairs.  I can't provide much more since I pay mortgage and utilities.  I have my home, too!  I have picked up overtime, but with their needs to be considered both of us can't work anymore, especially their mother.  
It's just their mother and myself for their financial support.  We would appreciate any donations to help with their house repairs, baby furniture, and lessen the financial burden on her so she can give Austin and Evan a safe and happy home!  Thank you for any considerations!  We are not able to do this on our own and have to reach out to others.  With help, we are able to focus on their future rather than their tragic past!
