Only doctor Paley can save Michał!

Recently my little nephew was born with congenital defect of the upper limbs - phocomelia. Michaś Lisiewski is only 1 month old and has just a year to undergo an operation which will immensely transform his life.

A message from his mother..
I look at his shining eyes and I am overwhelmed by great love, I look at his little feet and I am overwhelmed by tenderness, I look at his hands and I am overwhelmed by terror ... I dreamed of a easy and happy life for him, but fate decided otherwise.

Michaś is so tiny, vulnerable, fragile. I wish he had a good life, but I know it will be hard for him. My little son was born with undeveloped hands. We learned about this defect only after his birth.

The developmental defect consists of a bilateral, incomplete humerus with a single forearm bone and a fragment of an unformed, also fused, other forearm bone. The wrist bones and finger bones also failed to develop.

Michaś was born with no chance for a normal life, but we know that we have to fight for his fitness! The only salvation for our child is surgery at the Paley European Institute! The operation is extremely necessary and extremely expensive ... and we are not able to save our son alone..
