Online Fitrana Appeal

To make it easier I have set this Fitrana appeal on behalf of Al-amin Jame Mosque for anyone to make online payments towards their obligation to pay zakat al-fitr. Every Muslim is obliged, if they have the means to do so, to pay fitrana in Ramadan. Adults should pay for themselves, their children and anyone they care for who is unable to do so.
Fitrana is a way to thank Allah for having enabled us to fast and anway to cleanse ourselves of any shortcomings during the blessed month.
It should be paid before the Eid jamat, but in order for us to reach the poor before Eid, ideally we need to get the monies in to do so. The amount recommended is £4.00 per person - but you can pay more if you are able to. Please pay the fees to ensure we can give the full amount.
