6 students homes burnt down during Bear Fire

How many more traumas can my students endure? In 2017, all of my students were evacuated due to the damages on the Oroville Dam.  In 2018, several of my students lost their homes in the Campfire in Paradise, CA . A little over a year later, a pandemic broke out and disrupted every part of their lives. Nobody imagined it could get any worse but it did. Several of my students have lost their homes in the Bear Fire and many of their relatives have as well. 

Two of our students lost their home to the Campfire in Paradise CA and now they have lost their home again in the Bear Fire in Berry Creek!! An additional four students lost everything! The donations will be equally divided between the six students. Some did not have insurance! These families need an immediate change of clothes. They need money for groceries and money to eat out because they don't have a place to cook. They need money to potentially rent a place. The needs are enormous! And, the needs are immediate. 

An oversight committee will be created with me (a teacher), the principal, and potentially a board member of the school. The money will be accounted for and used for the purposes listed on this page.
