The future of the planet and humanity are in our hands [and our moustaches] - Dr. Jane Goodall
For the next 30 days, I'm hoping to ignite the lands of infinite scrolling with my face to spark inspiration for your passive and active participation to save the world. For the month of November, I will be subjecting my face and hijacking Movember [moustache + November] in the hopes to raise awareness, active movement, and monetary opportunities for the Jane Goodall Institute.
I ask of you one of three things (perhaps even all three!):
1. Your donation of a daily coffee $5 or £2.70 to the Jane Goodall Institute.
2. Get involved and grow your moustache (or anything!) for the next month, promoting a non-profit that's inspired you.
3. Or Simply Share this along to your Friends, near and far, and ask for their help.
I was first introduced to the works and words of the British Primatologist, Jane Goodall back in my community college days under the thought leadership and professor, Dr. Linda Duchin. I had a privileged opportunity to volunteer at a spider monkey sanctuary in the Yucatán which forever opened my eyes to the world, nature, and our coexistence as a species. A lot has happened since then, and arguably, stakes are even higher today than they ever have been to drive the importance of healthy communities, saving the Natural World, and spreading a force of compassion for all living things.
We live in a bountiful time, with loads of problems, and if we intend to live such a privledged life for ourselves, our kids, and their kids, we need to ensure the world continues on through our successes. Don't wait for tomorrow. Start today. Together we can save the World One Day and One 'Stache at a Time.
