One Million Meter World Record

From December 27-29, seven Seattle rowers will be attempting to set the Lightweight U-19 World Record for the 1 million meter erg. The erg (Ergometer) is an indoor rowing simulator, used for training. In order to set the record, the seven of us will be switching on and off in a relay format. Someone will be on the machine at all times. It will take 65-70 hours to complete the distance. In lead up to the attempt, we will be raising money for a local organization called Outdoors for All. Their goal is to better the lives of those with disabilities, through outdoor exploration. With your help, this local organization will be able to  enhance the lives of people all over the country. The program includes activities like Skiing, Canoeing, Hiking, and Yoga in a group setting.

Update:     After much complication, we are withdrawing the funds ourselves and will give to Outdoors for All.
