Once in a life time trip to Disneyland Paris

Hi all,

Mayfield is a Special Needs School in Chorley Lancashire, and we are taking 22 students on a Once in a life time trip to Disneyland Paris in October 2024.

We want to make the children's 'Dreams Come True' and the best place to do this is in Disneyland. Many of our students have life threatening and life limiting medical conditions and this trip will help brighten their lives and make special memories for them.

Mayfield School is at the heart of the local community providing education, experiences and opportunities for our students and a trip to Disneyland Paris is our biggest opportunity yet!

We are a relatively small special school, with just 120 pupils, but we make a big impact on the lives of our children and their families and are excited to be able to offer this opportunity.

In school we pride ourselves on nurturing our pupils and providing a one-size-fits-one approach to learning that enables our young people to reach their full potential. We provide a safe, happy and regulated learning community, where together we empower pupils to develop key skills for life and believe this trip will help each and everyone of our children.

Whilst parents are funding a small percentage of this trip, we are looking to fundraise to ensure this an outstanding and memorable trip for everyone and that we really do make their 'Dreams Come True'
