On the road to the National Crown

Hello my people! My name is Natalie Oliver-Atherton, a seasoned brodway+screen actress, vocal+acting coach, former Miss New Hampshire, current Mrs. Colorado American 2023, spiritual humanitarian, mother, wife, and lover of life!

I have been blessed in the first act of my life to do what I love/enjoy, I hail from the Keystone State aka Pennsylvania and when I was 17yrs old many moons ago, I set out on a pageantry path where I was first runner up in 2 states Massachusetts and Pennsylvania, before eventually winning the title of Miss New Hampshire 1981.

Several pageants celebrate the beauty and accomplishments of mature women and women of color, and in 2022 I decided to dust off my sparkly stilettos, get back out there at a much older 60+yrs young, to show that no matter your age, race, or circumstance, consistency, tenacity, resilience and determination are key. In the 2022 Mrs. Colorado America pageant, I placed in the top 10 (a happy surprise); however, I came back strong in 2023 and won! And now hold the current Mrs. Colorado American title and crown. Doing the pageants now vs the early days honors the wealth of wisdom, experience, and beauty of seasoned women.

I am on the road to compete at the National level in Las Vegas and winning this title will enable me to raise the profile of my platform, and identify the next generation of multi-talented artists, global citizens and performers, doing my part to pay it forward! I am a mature woman who has been married 27 years with 3 beautiful grown children, and from all of my successes, travels, experiences, wins and failures, I have become incredibly resilient, consistency+tenacity is key, and I am in it for the long haul. With the next part of the journey just 3 1/2 months away, I need your help to successfully take on the next phase of competition at the national level. I am raising funds to defray the cost to create a local Las Vegas glam team, attract Ad sponsors, stay on task with my fitness regime, complete my competition wardrobe and all other incidental necessities for the pageant.
