I pray that all is well with you.
As for me, I have the opportunity to go on another mission trip to Cap Haitian, Haiti, this fall from September 30th to October 31st, 2017.
God has placed a desire in my heart to serve at Open Door Haiti Orphanage located in Bois de lance, Cap Haitian. I hope to spend quality time with the children, listening to their stories, and their desires for the future. I plan to teach them coping skills through art therapy, to teach them English, and to play interactive games with them. Most of all, I plan to show them the love of Christ.
While I have gone on many mission trips with Christ Community Church in the past, I believe at this time God has called me to go on my own. I covet your prayers, and I am trusting God for financial support. As this is a private trip, any financial help would not be tax deductible, but so appreciated.
Many of you have been faithful to support me on past trips. I need to raise $2,500 to cover airfares, supplies, food, and housing. If you wish to support me, any amount is welcome! If so, please make checks payable to Josenique Cherfils.
