FHS Weight Room Upgrade

Franklin High School QB Club is conducting a fundraiser to generate funds to upgrade the school's weight room. The weight room is utilized by most of the athletic teams at FHS, both boys and girls. Our program is dedicated to teaching players, men and women, life skills and core values, with the goal of molding players into respectful and responsible young adults.
The expense of maintaining athletic programs is considerable. And while county and school moneys are utilized for facilities at the school, some upgrades fall to boosters and community support.
The FHS weight room has not been upgraded in 20 years. While it does have appropriate stations and weights to train with, it has been "piecemilled" over the years and some of the equipment has become unsafe to use. The FHS QB Club has taken on the task of leading the fundraising effort to upgrade the equipment for the weight room this year in order to provide better and safer equipment for all student athletes at the school. It is also committed to adding more appropriate equipment for the women athletes to utilize as they continue to represent FHS on the field or in the gym.
Our goal is to raise $40,000 to help fund this upgrade for our 800 student athletes at FHS. Please join us in this endeavor and help provide a championship-quality weight room as our athletes build character along with strength.
