Olympic pathway

Hi! My name is Arthur Farley.

I am 18 years old and live in Cowes, Isle of Wight.

I’ve been sailing for 5 years now, slowly making my way up to achieve 3 British National Champion titles. This year recently became under 19 European champion! I’m in the current GBR youth Olympic squad.. 

2021 was a positive year becoming Vice Youth national champion and 32nd at the under 21 worlds! 

2022 plans are:
Princess Sofia regatta in Mallorca 
Under 21 Europeans in France 
Under 21 worlds in vilamoura 
Senior Europeans in Hyeres, France 
Senior worlds in Mexico
Kiel week  
and many more training and regattas..

A year campaign cost between £25,000 and £30,000 this covers boat, entries, travel, coaching, accommodation etc 

I am already looking to the future, campaigning for Olympics 2028/2032 and beyond. 

My parents fully fund my campaign but it’s getting almost impossible for them to support me especially as results are getting better and more training and events are needed…
