Olivia Seizure Dogs

Hello,

I want to start Olivia's story with telling you she is a beautiful, sweet, amazing 3 month old little girl, that has had a very hard and strugglesum road. Olivia Rey was born June 2, 2017. She was a healthy, sweet, and happy baby girl born at 6lbs 11oz. Olivia was released from the hospital after 24 hours with the future of a normal child. 10 days after leaving the hospital, I began to notice something was not right with my sweet girl. She became inconsolable, and had spiked a high fever. Olivia went into the hospital on June 14, 2017 and has had a long road from there. On June 15th Olivia was dignosed with Meningitis, and the Rhinovirus (common cold for Adults, but very lethal for small infants). The Meningitis infection attacked her brain and her spinal cord. The infection to Olivias brain from the Meningitis caused her to delevop a seizure disorder that gave her a severe Traumatic Brain Injury causing scar tissue to develop on Olivia's brain. She was having 35+ seziures an hour that were shown through EEG tests that were conducted over the time in the hopsital. The Rhinovirus deminished Olivia's lung function causing her to turn grey and took her respitory drive. The doctors told us that she may not make it and she was put on life support. After being in the NICU for 5 days, Olivia over came the Rhinovirus and was able to breath again on her own. After spending 31 days in the hospital and having endured 35 different punctures in her spinal cord and all over her body, we were able to go home. She was home for 2 weeks, and then had to go to Seattle Children's Hospital for care for a week. After Seattle, we were home for another two weeks, but had return to the hospital because Olivia's siezures started back up.
We are looking for donations to help get a Seziure Detecting Dog for Olivia to help her and her family deal with all of her seziures. The doctors tell us Olivia will NEVER talk, walk, or go through life with out some kind of assistance. The Seizure Detecting Dog will help detect her seziures prior to her having them and will be able to communicate for her since she is not able to. The dog will also help alert the people around her and  help her be able to know that a seizure is coming. This will also help us track them and let us know if we need to get her medications adjusted.
If you ask anyone that knows us, we do not ask for help but these dogs come at a high price since they are a resource to a life time of assistance. Please help us get this Seizure Detecting Dog for Olivia.

Olivia and her family thanks you!
