Ollie’s Emergency Fund

My name is Kristen Pedersen and I’m a student at the University of Washington, and Oliver (Ollie) is my 5 month old samoyed puppy that is my Emotional Service Animal. I recently moved into a new house and while going to the bathroom, Ollie got past his play gate and into a bag of my socks. He threw up 7 socks while still at my place, and then I rushed him to Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners - Seattle at about 2:00am on 1/8/18. Once there he continued to throw up stomach acid and the vet ordered an X-ray and Ultra sound for 817.00$. They kept Oliver over night, giving him an I.V. for fluids and an anti nausea medication. The images taken showed a blockage in his intestines, meaning he needs an endoscopy if the socks don’t pass. Right now his vet bill is a little over 2,000$ but could be as high as 5,816$. Being a full time student, plus taking care of a puppy I do not have time for a job and have no way of paying these bills.
