‘Old Bridge’ to Edinburgh Fringe Festival

After a two week 5 star reviewed run at the Tower Theatre in Stoke Newington we’re taking our play ‘Old Bridge’, written by Igor Memić, to Edinburgh Fringe! ‘Old Bridge’ is a wonderful play about love and friendship in a time of war. Set in Mostar, Bosnia, during the collapse of Yugoslavia, the play follows four friends as their lives are ripped apart and their beautiful city begins to crumble. This story is particularly important, due to the devastating war happening in Ukraine right now. We want to share this story with as many people as possible and Edinburgh Fringe is the perfect place to do that! Expect a Romeo and Juliet style romance, with gut punches of despair and sadness, and laced with dark humour and wit. We appreciate anything you can give to help us on our way to Edinburgh. Any profits after the run will go to the charity, ‘Hope for Ukraine’ delivering humanitarian aid to the people still there, as well as refugees fleeing the conflict.
