In Everlasting Memory of Oksana Tkachiv
Donation protected
This week, we’re saying goodbye to our beloved friend, daughter, niece, wife and a mother Oksana Tkachiv. Over a year ago, she was diagnosed with cancer and had been given only few months to live. But Oksana did not give up, she fought hard to have more time with the loved ones cherishing each moment.
Oksana came to Canada over 25 years ago spending most of her life in Toronto, making beautiful memories with her family and friends. Her last wish was to be laid to rest in Toronto, at the Oakville Cemetery.
The last few years she spent in Squamish, British Columbia with the family enjoying the beauty of the ocean, crisp fresh air and strength of the mountain. Over the years, Oksana built her nursing career in the hospital where she was cared for after she got diagnosed. Many nurses and doctors developed such a strong bond with Oksana and will forever remember her strong spirit and kindness. To help family and friends always remember Oksana, family is looking to build a Memory Bench in front of the hospital in BC, serving as the lasting reminder and celebration of her life.
Family is looking for your help in this difficult time to build such memorabilia for the loved ones to visit the bench when their hearts are in pain. If you are able to help with this project, kindly send your contributions to the GoFundMe Page. No amount is too small.
Thank you very much for your care and unconditional support.
