Tavias Colon Cancer Fight

My name is Tavia Anderson. Having three sons as a single mother was always challenging and never thought of any other challenges. I have successfully raised my son's to be the best men they are blessed to be. I am now a grandmother of 3. I have worked as an Hair Technician in the state of Minnesota for 18 years now and being a entrepreneur for 25 years. 2 1/2 years ago I started to notice changes in my physical abilities to maintain my professional performance due to chronic back pain. I had numerous back injections that didn't ease the pain. I was informed that I was a candidate for a neurostimulator as well as a back surgery. I decided that surgery wouldn't be a option and decided to go with acupuncture instead. It helped with the pain,but my body was definitely continuing to change. I started having abdominal pain, no energy, then blood in my stool. After being miserable diagnosed with other diseases such as diverticulitis I felt that wasn't the problem. After I scheduled my colonoscopy I was shocked with the news that I had stage 3 colon cancer. Denial definitely hit me. I was informed that I have been carrying this cancer for 5 years which contributed to my chronic back pain. After removing 54 tumors, I am preparing for chemotherapy. I have the stresses of monthly expenses that has become an struggle. Being a entrepreneur without any medical benefits is really hard,when you work for each dollar through client services. Please help me to heal properly without stress. I want to spread awareness and build a support foundation for those who are like myself and don't have the support of family and friends.
