Ohio Riders, TD Houghton & Luan Machado

On April 10, 2021, Veteran rider, TD Houghton, and Luan Machado were involved in a catastrophic spill at Mahoning Valley racetrack when their horses tried to avoid another fallen horse. Unfortunately the horse TD was riding was euthanized due to his injuries and the other two horses were okay. As of Saturday night, Luan was conscious waiting on results from cat scan, but suffering from neck and back pain. TD was in the ICU and sedated.

Both of these riders are a strong and influential part of Ohio Racing however they have left their mark on the industry in many areas.  I am asking for everyone to come together to help these amazing men and their families cover loss of income, uncovered medical bills and anything else they need, because they both have a long road of recovery ahead of them.
