My name is Rev. Tod Foster. My dear friend Annette Fiore is one of the sweetest souls I know. Annette has supported herself and raised a family by cutting peoples hair. She loves to make people feel better by making them look great. She sees the good in everyone.
Annette has been a hairdresser for over thirty years. Annette has a shop that she has rented for almost 30 years. She has no onther source of income other than her tips and income provided by cutting the hair of her customers.
On 2/26/15, Annette suffered from a stroke. Annette was alone home when the stroke occurred. Sherry who works out of the shop tried several times to reach Annette who would not answer the phone or text. Attnette was to report to work by 2:00P.M to cut a long time customers hair. When Annette didn't show up, the customer who knows Annette went to her house to see if everything we ok while Sherry finished with her customer. There was no answer and Sherry called the police. The police gained access into the house and found Anntte trying to make it to the door. She was conscious but not able to speak or think very well. Annette was rushed to the hospital and just in time. Annette was diagnosed with 100% blocked Carotid Artery. In addition, her son was informed that she was born with a missing artery that would help supply blood to the brain and this makes her surgery very risky. Annettes son agreed to the surgery.
By the grace of God, Annette come through the surgery remarkably well.
Annette has a lot of rehabilitation and other services will need to be made to help her make a full recovery. In the meantime, Annette needs some help in raising money to help her cover her medical bills and other bills that are adding up as she is not working. Annette may not be able to work by law for the next 6 months as the state often suspends your license when you have had a seizure or stroke.
Annette is such a remarkable women. Everyone who knows her loves her. She is often head telling her customers as they leave "I love you". You know that she means it. Annette takes loving care of her customers and listens to their problems and their success. She has many customers who she did there first hair cut and give the first hair cut to their kids.
