OGAA Pirate Booster Lighting Fund
Tax deductible
It is the mission of Oak Grove Athletic Association to help the youth of our communities develop and grow through athletic competition. We believe the youth of our community should be afforded the opportunity to learn life lessons through teamwork, dedication, and hard work- which athletic competition brings. This is only accomplished through strong, well-run organizations. It is the primary goal of OGAA to offer the resources necessary to accomplish this goal.
Our Pirate Booster Club is an all- volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to encouraging the development of academic and athletic skill of over 750 children in our community.
Late last year, a big storm took down several lights at our main field. As a safety precaution, we reached out to Duke Energy to cut the power to the fallen light poles in order to ensure the safety of all on the premises, and until we could complete the necessary steps to get the light repaired and up to code.
In lieu of this situation, we are unable to host evening/night games for our kids until the electrical repairs are completed. Electrical experts have quoted the work at around $8,000.
As a result, we are asking for YOUR HELP!!
We appreciate your help by way of monetary donation via the link below. Please also pass this link onto others that believe in and support positive ways to support our youth through athletic sport/competition, coaching and mentoring.
Remember, it takes a Village!
Many thanks in advance,
