Help Jacob & Joshua go to the WEKAF Worlds!
Greetings,
Family and friends, meet Jacob and Joshua.
Jacob & Joshua Lucero competed at the 2012 WEKAF (World Eskrima Kali Arnis Federation) USA National Championships held in San Francisco, Ca. on March 24th. Both brothers won 4 Gold Medals each in 4 separate divisions: Weapons Self-Defense, Single-Stick Live Stickfighting, Double-Stick Live Stickfighting, and Knife Fighting.
They have officially secured their positions on the WEKAF USA National Team and will be representing our country at the 2012 WEKAF World Championships being held this July in Cebu, Philippines.
Jacob and Joshua train in both Taekwondo and Bandalan Doce Pares Eskrima at White Tiger Martial Arts Academy located in Fresno, Ca. They are second-generation martial artists who have spent their entire lives surrounded by world famous martial arts Masters and Grandmasters. Their performance at the 2012 WEKAF Nationals was greatly enjoyed by Grandmaster Alfredo Bandalan, Sr. and Grandmaster Max Pallen. Although both brothers hold Green Belt rankings in Taekwondo, they are currently White belts in the Filipino martial art of Eskrima. Nevertheless, they have strong form, accurate technique, and great timing. These brothers are training hard to represent their country at the upcoming 2012 WEKAF World Championships and plan return as 2012 WEKAF World Champions.
