Help Elinda Fight Cancer

Lindi was diagnosed with breast cancer July 2014. She was told that the cancer spread into her lymph nods but with surgery, chemo, and then radiation, she had a very good chance of survival. She had the surgery in September and was supposed to have her last bout of chemo this
Thursday, March 12th. 
Yesterday, Lindi was admitted into ICU. The port that she received her chemo in caused a blood clot to form on her heart. The doctors are doing Thrombolytic Therapy hoping to dissolve the clot but because the clot is so large there is a good chance that she will need open heart surgery to remove the clot. 
Unfortunately Lindi does not have long term disability and her short term disability ended in December. To make matters worse, her husband was laid off from his job weeks before Christmas.
Instead of worrying about her health, Lindi is worried about how they will afford to pay their bills. She told me today that she's hoping to get out of the hospital by the end of the week so she can go back to work.
For those of you that know Lindi, you know that she is hard working and determined and always makes a way for everyone and everything. This is a time that she needs others to help her out and she needs to focus on healing.
