In response to the recent Earthquakes and Tsunami that hit Indonesia, our team is preparing to provide the Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing with solar powered emergency lights and CLEAN water with our partner Waves for Water. We will begin searching for Deaf/HH where the quake destroyed 67,000 homes and displaced 350,000 people now living in camps.

The MPOWERD "EMRG" Luci Light that we will be distributing provides all functionalities necessary for a person who relies on visual communication. Check out this video to learn about the light:

What will these expenses cover: The travel/transportation cost to navigate the island affected by the disasters in order to search for the Deaf/HH to distribute light and clean water; hiring of a local guide on the island; cost of emergency supplies and baggage fees.
