Official Memorial Fund for Luis Velazquez, Jr.

On September 26, 2020, our beloved son and brother, Luis Velazquez, 15 years old, was senselessly shot multiple times while sitting in the car outside his family home.  He was taken to KU Medical Center where he passed away due to his injuries. The family is devastated, Luis's parents are hard working immigrants from Mexico who would do anything for anyone. Luis was the only son besides his older sister. Luis was a sweet boy with a big heart and gained his wings too soon. He will be missed by many people that dearly loved him. As of right now, the family is also without a vehicle due to the multiple bullet holes and broken glass. We know that times are difficult for many, and would appreciate any support you could offer to help the family with funeral expenses and provide a memorial in honor of their Luis. The family prays that their beautiful son and brother is in the arms of the angels and want you to know they would be so grateful for any contribution.  Thank you.
