Officer Kevin Lenkowski Medical Fund

In November of 2021, just a week before Thanksgiving, Officer Kevin Lenkowski of the New Jersey Transit Police received devastating news. After a trip to the Emergency Room, tests revealed a massive tumor on his colon which required immediate surgery. Doctors confirmed he has cancer at age 51. Needless to say, this has been a life changing event , not only for Kevin, but for his wife and two daughters who he is putting through college.

Kevin is a United States Marine Corps veteran with eight years of honorable service and an officer here at NJTPD since 2001. As an active member of the Department's Emergency Services Unit, he has always been there when someone needed help. He has served his country and his community, and I believe it is time to give back.
