What’s going on family !
We have been blessed to promote and curate art shows around the world featuring some amazing artists and people. If you have ever been to a Trapxart event or participated in an event we thank you contributing to making Trapxart what it is. You all have a place in our hearts.
Just like a lot of the world, the pandemic has impacted Amina and I and our family in a major way. The kids homeschool grind is real! For any parents out there you know what I'm taking about. Lol!
Just like a lot of people have lost their jobs during this pandemic we have experienced our main source of income over the past 8 years being cut off. In person events is what we do to support our family.
Due to Covid regulations we have been basically at a stand still when it comes to putting events together.
Even though we stopped doing events we began to shift our platform to the digital realm. We have put together different services to promote artists outside the traditional in person events. Although we are excited to see all the new ways, Trapxart has been able to pivot our platform, the income we were making from the events compared to the income we are bringing in with our new products is not comparable.
After the start of the pandemic, we got set up with unemployment (EDD). These unemployment payments have been very helpful for us. However, the state of California’s unemployment infrastructure is inept to deal with the volume of unemployment claims. Amina and I have had both of our unemployment accounts suspended randomly along with 1.5 million others and there is no solution in near sight. Due to the fact that we have been taken off of unemployment our income that has been heavily slashed due to the pandemic has taken a major hit.
If anyone out there Is in the blessed position to offer us any support during these crazy unbelievable times we have started up a go fund me page. Thank you all for reading , we are excited to continue to offer an inspiring platform to all of you.
