Odie's Cancer Vaccine Expenses

Hey everyone!
I am raising money for my dog's expenses. If y'all know me well enough, y'all know that Odie is my world. I have cherished him every day since I adopted him about 5 1/2 years ago.
On September 1, 2020 my world was shattered when I found out that Odie had a tumor in his radius/ulna on his front left leg. This tumor was eating away his bones surrounding that tumor and is known as Osteosarcoma...bone cancer. I did all my research to find out more about Osteosarcoma, and the fact that Osteosarcoma is very fast paced scared me. When left untreated, dogs with Osteosarcoma are more likely to die within approximately 2 MONTHS.
So I did the next best thing, which was to amputate Odie's front leg. Doing so, Odie's life expectancy is now 6 1/2 months instead of 2 months. The next thing we could do was Chemotherapy (which does NOT cure him) or try something else. Chemotherapy was not an option for me only because I can't afford it given the fact I would only be able to afford, maybe, 2 rounds of it, but I had read that 2 rounds doesn't do anything. So, I looked around and came across the Yale Canine Cancer Vaccine Trial. This trial has shown success in some dogs across the country in which the dog is living past their life expectancy and some are even CURED of the cancer. Unfortunately, Yale was unable to send the vaccine to me since they are trying to get the USDA Licensure to continue to do that, which they said would take about 8-12 weeks to resolve. I knew I didn't want to waste anymore time waiting. Therefore, I drove Odie and I up to Norwalk, CT on Tuesday, October 13th to get to his appointment on Wednesday, October 14th. We got there 45 minutes before his appointment after driving 29 hours straight from Dallas, TX. The vaccine was free since we drove up there, but they charged me for the vet visit, which was very pricey. We stopped 9 times for gas and had to stay the night and sleep before we made the 29-30 hour drive back to Texas the following morning to stop 9 more times for gas. If you've read the website I shared above, you will have seen that this vaccine has 2 parts to it. Therefore, I have to drive back to Norwalk, CT to get the second part of this vaccine 3 weeks from his last appointment. His next appointment is on November 2, 2020 and I will be driving him there and back once again and paying yet another vet visit fee upon arrival. The expenses for the trip to get up there and back was way more than I had anticipated along with the surprise vet visit fees. I know that some of y'all wanted to help, so I figured now would be the best time to do this. Thank you so so much for all of y'all's support and kind words! All of it means so much :)
