As many of you know, our tight-knit community of Jefferson Junior Senior High School lost one of our Saints, Odalys Medina. On behalf of her family, I am reaching out in hopes to help ease the financial burden that this sudden and uncomprehensible loss has caused. All funds will be used for the memorial and burial costs.
For those of you who knew Odalys, you knew she loved life and loved the people in it even more. For those of you who were not fortunate enough to have known her, you truly missed out. I had the great pleasure of being Odalys's teacher and adviser through her high school years where I grew to love and adore her. Her silly, sassy personality was one I will never forget and the incredible bond that her, myself, and the other students made was and still is unbreakable.
Odalys's best friends have planned a candle-light vigil to celebrate her life and legacy this Sunday 1/22/17 at the Molholm Gazebo in Lakewood, Colorado (6000 W 9th Ave. 80214). Please bring any pictures or memories that you can share with Odayls's loved ones. Details on the memorial service will be avaliable soon.
