Hello Everyone!
I know a lot of you probably just helped my kids get into a new home. Thank you so much to those of you that did.
I've had some of you ask how you could help us, knowing our situation. Besides moral support, we need financial help. With me being unemployed and a vast majority of my unemployment checks going to my child support (rightfully so), and Michelle's reduced hours and not being able to find any work that pays better with more hours, we're sinking. I hate to ask for help because I want to take care of my financial problems myself. However, with my school hours and being limited in what I can do physically, I haven't been able to find anyone who has something for me in four plus months. I'm at wits end in how we'll stay in our home. It's 50% cheaper living where we are than renting an apartment, and if we get too far behind in rent (which is likely in the next 2 weeks) they'll begin the eviction process which involves court and us losing the house entirely. We are $1,000 behind in lot rent and another $1,000 behind in utilities in addition to other bills, which is why I set our goal at $3,000. Due to my parents helping we avoided shut off of our heat this week. I don't know where else to turn but to my friends and loved ones for help. Again, I hate asking for help, but we are in quite a desperate position.
If you can, please consider helping us out of this mess we're in, while I'm in school trying to get a job I can physically do and make about the same as I was getting before.
