This beautiful, sharp tongued, brilliant organizer who runs every kind of campaign to support others in their fights for justice and fairness, now needs us to campaign for her. Maria's cancer is aggressive and she wants to be even more aggressive, and kick cancer's ass (as Maria has always been known to do.)  But this time she needs our help: to be assessed at special cancer program at City of Hope and to continue treatment with a internationally known cancer-curing herbalist she is paying out of pocket.  And it's not cheap.
