Help sea turtle Billie to recover

Oceania Synergy is a NFP that aims to protect Cabbage Tree Bay Reserve (CTB), a marine sanctuary located at Manly Beach, Sydney. We happily embrace any cause that supports our goal!
Last Saturday one of CTB's resident turtles, Billie, was rescued with the help of ocean lovers and freedivers: Em Pettersson, Jonas Ostersen, Louisa Xu, Nick Bonner, and Veronika Walch.
After noticing Billie was not looking too well, they got in touch with Australian Seabird Rescue and Robert Olive (a volunteer and turtle carer) was sent from ASR to rescue the turtle.
Robert noticed Billie had pinkish skin-a symptom of septicaemia, which can be lethal.
Our beloved Billie has started a combination treatment of antibiotics and fluids, daily. Antibiotics are approximately $220 per dose and we are still unsure of how many doses Billie will need at this point. Billie is due to see a vet on Friday and will need to have x-rays done to check for pneumonia, a common condition in sea turtles - especially if they already have septicemia.
"Vet bills and x-rays cost around $300 and Billie will also need 300-500g of food daily to support her recovery. This also adds to the cost since her diet is comprised of prawns, oily fish and squid." - Cathy Gilmore (ASR Coordinator)
We are raising money to help the amazing work the ASR is doing taking care of Billie. Any donation will help and all donations go to directly to ASR's bank account.
