Occupational Therapy for Connor

As many of you know, our son, Connor has Autism.  He does close to 30 hours of various therapies per week to help him make strides. 

We have recently switched insurance at work and the provider is not widely accepted for Speech, Feeding and Occupational Therapy in DFW.  We also recently switched Occupational Therapist's to someone who really is knowledgeable and can make huge strides with him. 

We are raising money for Connor to attend occupational therapy 2 times a week to help him with his fine motor and gross motor skills as well as sensory issues relating to Autism that cause feeding and toileting issues.  We recently found out that Connor has some proprioceptive problems and primitive reflexes that should have been integrated into his nervous system by two that also cause toileting issues as well as the constant moving around/attention issues.  We are trying to do all that we can right now at a younger age so that Connor can live independently and do well in school in order to go to college and graduate.  

Unfortunately, our insurance does not cover occupational therapy and we do not have any out of network benefits.  Between all of his other therapies, doctor visits and insurance premiums (Cobra) last year and in the coming year, we are left needing additional financial help.  Anything you can provide is greatly appreciated! Each therapy session is $120 and therefore we are trying to raise $12,000 for the year of therapy services.
