OC Hockey Club

Sandra Day O’Connor’s High School Hockey Team has been thriving in the valley for over 10 years.   The Eagles have brought home multiple state championships, and have even gone on to represent Arizona in Nationals!  Our hockey team has 17 players ready and eager to get back on the ice and in order to ensure the players are fully prepared, we are asking for your help.  The pandemic has affected so many of us in so many different ways. We have players that have lost loved ones to Covid, we have families whose parents haven’t worked for months, and we have previous sponsors that are unable to help due to their own struggles. The Eagles are hoping that you might be able to help. Any donation amount will be greatly appreciated. The team will use your donation to purchase helmets, gloves, jerseys, and much needed ice time. Ice time is so important to our players and is expensive here in the desert. An hour of ice time runs $400 - $500 depending on the rink. Ice time allows the players to learn the importance of teamwork, prepares them for games, allows for team bonding and to continue to improve their skills. The helmets, gloves, and jerseys will make sure we show the other teams we are united and ready to compete.
