Obstruction Surgery For Buzz

My daughter’s 10 month old Golden puppy, Buzz,  started throwing up around 5:00 am this morning. By 10:00, he had thrown up nearly a dozen times and wouldn’t eat or drink (or even chase his beloved frisbee).  He was seen by a vet at 11:30 who did an X-ray and found a large blockage in his stomach/intestines. The vet provided medicine to take home and said there was a small chance it would help, but that Buzz’s best chance was surgery. The cost quoted for surgery is between $1,600 and $1,800.  Any funds collected over the amount he needs for surgery will be donated to McKamey Animal Shelter in Chattanooga.
