Obie's Cancer Treatment Fund

This page is for helping my dog Obie get through his prostate cancer treatment. He is a 10yr shepherd mix, recently diagnosed with a large prostate tumor in late January of 2021. Due to the location and size of the tumor, surgery is not a viable option for Obie. However, my family and I are continuing Obie's treatment by choosing radiation therapy for the month of March.

The treatment center is roughly a 2.5-3hr roundtrip from my mother's residence to get to his daily Monday-Friday sessions. We are attempting to raise funds to cover the cost of Obie's treatment, the daily cost of travel to and from the treatment center and Obie's current medications. 

Obie's vet has encouraged optimism in  radiation therapy as the best option for extending Obie's quality of life and comfort for the remainder of his time on earth. He has been given an approximate 1.5 more years of good quality of life with the successful application of radiation therapy.
