HELP "OAKLAND"s HIP- Found puppy

Hey there! So here's a little story about how I came about to have "Oakland". I happened to see this little guy run up out of the corner of my eye run up to a woman who was walking down the street, wagging his tail. She walked right by him like she didn't see him and he stopped, looked around and kept walking. I jumped out of my car, and was taken back to see the woman show him no acknowledgement at all.  I call for him, he sees me and turns around and runs towards me, obviously a bit shy but looking for love, he did the lil dog speedy run around my about 3 times, til he let me pet him a bunch and pick him. Super sweet. I checked him out, cause he was limping, got him scanned to see if he has a chip, he doesnt. He  is not fixed.  I have reported him being found on Nextdoor, Craigslist, and have a friend share on FB. I do not know where he came from but until someone can come forward or take him from me. I have to get his little leg checked out. If there is any way you can help, please share this post, maybe someone will recognize him. He seems to be potty trained, and very affectionate. I am thinking he may have had a family. I will post our trips to the dr as they occur. He is super sweet and I am hoping its just nothing too bad. Otherwise his health seems immaculate! I'm asking for some help to take care of this little guy. I can get an exam for free but will have to pay for all shots, chip, x-rays and not even sure yet  but it's just a basic popped out joint fix. I asked a friend who is a vet tech and she said a basic fix is about 2000$ Whoa! This is a give or take amount and will all go towards all of his medical expenses, just to get back up to puppy par. He is young so I'm hoping to get it done asap so he can go on to live a healthy lil puppy dog life.  I can't imagine this is good to linger. we are going for an exam on Tuesday.  Until I can either find him a perfect forever home, or if I decide to keep him.
