Oakland Black Homeowner Losing Everything in Fire

Hello there,

Our home in West Oakland caught fire after a squatter sleeping in the vacant home next door made a fire, of some sort, to keep himself warm. Oakland Police Department was contacted numerous times about this situation. He was not supposed to be inside of the house and as a result of this negligence, we are left without anything. The fire he started on July 19th has left my family and me with only memories of priceless items that can never be replaced! (Andrea Wilson, Kwame Grant, & DeMarcello Funes)
