OA Safe Grad Parade - Class of 2021

Celebrating 25 years of hosting the OA Safe Grad Night!
Of course, we would have preferred our traditional event but due to the continuing pandemic our annual Safe Grad Night tradition cannot occur. However, we will not let this year pass without celebrating the class of 2021!!
With that being said, we will be hosting a parade as we did last year. It was a huge success!
We will be honoring our 273 seniors in a 3-mile car parade on a tentative date of Saturday, May 22nd at 2:00 p.m.
Seniors and their families will form a parade of cars that will drive a 3-mile route that begins and ends at Oliver Ames High School. Please come out and show your support of these seniors by cheering them on as they drive along the route. Seniors must be seated in the passenger seat and be driven by a family member or someone they are living with. Additional passengers are limited to those living in the same household. There is only one car permitted in the parade for each senior. Cars may be decorated with appropriate banners and posters. Students must remain in the car at all times.
All parade spectators are asked to follow social distancing guidelines, which includes 6 feet of separation and the wearing of masks.
In addition to the Parade, we are giving all graduates a gift bag. The bag itself was donated and is a recycle bag with The Class of 2021 on it.
We are looking to raise more funds so we can add a few more items to their gift bags and for decorating the streets.
