Help Team Lynne Beat Breast Cancer!
On Feb. 11, our mom, Lynne Ranallo, was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Although this news is something you are never prepared to hear, we're confident that given our mom's strength, courage and the medical care she's under, she'll beat this!
Given the type of and the location of the tumor, her treatment requires eight rounds of chemotherapy spread over a period of 16 weeks, followed by a double mastectomy, and if necessary, radiation. With two rounds already completed, she's making progress and remaining positive through the not-so-great side effects of chemo.
Now, as if cancer weren't the worst already, the financial burden it has created is unimaginable. In addition to her everyday living expenses, she's now acquiring outrageously expensive medical bills and soon, for surgery and recovery, will need to take weeks of unpaid time off of work.
As her supporters, we're trying to alleviate any stress for our mom that we can, including exploring every avenue of financial assistance possible.
